The GERS Group, with more than 43 years in the electric industry, provides engineering analysis and consulting services for global utilities and industrial clients. GERS’ comprehensive services provide professionals to contribute to the development and increase of reliability and efficiency of energy systems through studies, design, testing, and commissioning activities. The company is capable of carrying out all levels of detailed studies and designs in these areas, together with field supervision, equipment testing, and project development for utilities and industrial facilities.

Gers’ headquarters is in Weston, Florida, with additional locations in Chicago and Midland, Texas. The company also has affiliated offices in the United Kingdom, Mexico, Colombia, and Chile. GERS has developed projects of various sizes for a wide variety of customers and has also worked as a government contractor.

Over the past four decades, GERS has been responsible for the completion of generation, transmission, and distribution power projects of all types and sizes for utilities and industrial organizations located worldwide. GERS has consulting and field experience in Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean Islands. These services are intended to help any organization with a power system to have a reliable, safe, and efficient operation. Their services can be provided as the main consultant or as a sub-consultant/subcontractor for any company and any project size.

“We have seen a huge increase in requests for testing services from utilities, oil and gas facilities, and all sorts of industrial companies,” says GERS President & CEO Juan Gers. “Since we began working in field services in October 1986, we have witnessed soaring demand for these types of services in the United States and worldwide markets. This led us to improve our processes and increase our efforts to work in electrical testing services. We hired and trained more engineers and technicians and have acquired a significant supply of testing equipment to service these jobs. Our office staff ensures the highest quality standards for all the services we offer. Becoming an INAC will give us increased credibility in the industry, help us keep the knowledge and expertise of our people up to date, and  allow opportunities for networking activities with our peers.”

“NETA extends a warm welcome to GERS,” says Dan Hook, President of CBS Field Services and current NETA President. “We applaud the important role our NETA Accredited Companies play in advancing the electrical power systems industry and its safety. GERS can be proud of achieving NETA accreditation as recognition of their accomplishments as an organization.”
