NETA BOARD AND MEMBER MEETING
September 7–8, 2023

NETA’s fall board and member meetings held in Las Vegas focused on members, PowerTest, industry awareness, certification, and standards development. The board meeting heavily focused on the strategic initiatives for the upcoming fiscal year.
The member meeting included updates on association programs, as well as the first Accredited Representative/Technician Representative (AR/TR) panel discussion. Panel representatives included (left to right):

- Neno Pasic, Tony Demaria Electric
- Stephanie Butterfield, Qualus Services, LLC
- Kristen Schmidt, RESA Power Service
The panel discussion included a Q&A on the critical components of the AR/TR roles, as well as communication techniques and best practices.
The meeting ended with a tour of the Bellagio Fountain’s bat cave at the Bellagio Hotel. Members in attendance were able to tour the maintenance shop and see first-hand the mechanics of the fountain and music synchronization. It was a great tour!
